Viva La Primadonna

Best mash up I’ve heard in a very long time. Two of my favorite songs.

Need, Wear, Listen, Hair

Need, wear, listen, hair. I’m was inspired by this post, and I think I’ll do these regularly. Like? (P.s. I always feel like I try to start things and I just get too lazy. Anybody else feel like that about themselves?)

1.} Listen.
2.} Wear.
3.} Hair.
4.} Need.

Thank you for 50 followers! To think that people actually want to hear what I say is really surprising.

Love Songs and Heart Shaped Things

These are the treats I made this year for Valentine’s day. I think its good to eat a few heart shape things around this time of year. I got the recipe here, and a note about the frosting: it may seem crunchy with the granulated sugar, but just go with it; it tastes great with the cookies.

AND enjoy my favorite songs about love.

1. He’s So Fine – The Chiffons
2. Cupid – Sam Cooke
3. Be My Baby – The Ronettes
4. One Summer Night – The Danleers
5. One Fine Day – The Chiffons

Currently: Record Player

My latest obsession is my record player from urban outfitters that I got for my birthday. It’s brown and has black leather on the sides of it. I have two new records (Best Coast and Florence and the Machine) and a BUNCH from my grandmother, including three original Beatles albums. I love listening to it. Next album on my list: Foster the People.

Sun Inspired

Do you know who the Two Door Cinema Club is? They’re a great band, and you should check them out if you like rock or alternative music. I like their new song “Sun”, and love the music video for it. Very retro inspired. The dancer’s choreography at the beginning is great. And so are their clothes! I found some look alike pieces to the one’s they wear in the video, and other pieces that look as if they would fit right in.

Denim buttondown, brown sweater, leather jacket, marina pullover, brown shoes, cutoff shorts, teal leggings, white tennis shoes, headband, grey t-shirt, grey trousers, pink shorts, blue heels, yellow espadrilles.

Wedding Song Suggestions?

I’m going to a wedding in a couple of days, and the bride is asking for playlist suggestions for the D.J. I already come up with a few, but does anybody have any good song suggestions? Something easy to dance to is the most important, and also something that isn’t annoying or grungy.
