These are the treats I made this year for Valentine’s day. I think its good to eat a few heart shape things around this time of year. I got the recipe here, and a note about the frosting: it may seem crunchy with the granulated sugar, but just go with it; it tastes great with the cookies.
AND enjoy my favorite songs about love.
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE love! I love all the sweetness that comes along with it. It’s the thing that brings people closer. Now I’ve never been in love, but I’ve surely seen it, and I like what I see! So naturally Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday. Most people think I’m crazy, they’re like, “who is this cooky single girl, going around shouting that she loves valentines day?! The day is just an excuse for greeting card companies, and chocolate companies and florists to make money!”
I feel sorry for people like this. They don’t realize how important a day to show the people you care the most about really is. And you don’t have to be in a relationship! I think Valentine’s day should be everyday, so we never take loved ones for granted. But I don’t rule the world, so it’s a predetermined February 14th.
Obviously I’m excited for this holiday, or “holiday” for some of you, so I gathered some goodies and sweets to share with your honey, or just anybody that you love!
